Winter classes are coming!
After a long hiatus, we are bringing back our hands-on cheese making classes at Blue Jacket Dairy so you can learn how to make fresh, delicious cheese in your kitchen. If you have wanted to make fresh mozzarella or creamy ricotta, this is your chance.
Once you make fresh ricotta you will think differently about a store-bought container of ricotta cheese. (For the record, if I'm in desperate need, I will reach for Micelli's ricotta because it is my favorite brand-name option). But nothing compares to the flavor and satisfaction of cheese you have made yourself.

These classes feature two of our favorite cheeses to cook with, fresh mozzarella and ricotta. You'll leave with both the recipe and the confidence to recreate them at home. It's fun and the perfect way to slow down and savor something you have made.
